Yesterday, we gave the trout another full water change due to the high nitrate levels in the tank. The nitrate levels are now back to normal and the hose worked fine. Last time we did a water change, we accidentally broke the piece that tightens the hose adapter to the sink so we had to hold it on ourselves. As you can probably imagine, that worked out horribly. The hose kept on building up with pressure and eventually, the water burst out of the top of the hose so fast, that it made it to the ceiling and got Mr. Brian wet. We ordered a new piece for the hose and it works much better now. We also now have an estimated time of when we will release the fish! It will be some time after May 5th and some time within the month of May. We will tell you as soon as we know the exact date so stay tuned for our next blog post! P.S, our next blog post may not be on Thursday.
